Intention to use cryptocurrency: Social and religious perspective

Purpose – This study tries to find out what factors influence the intention use cryptocurrency from a social and religious perspective using Self Determination Theory (SDT) of Planned Behavior (TPB).Methodology Respondents were chosen purposive sampling targeting z generation analyze Structural Equation Modeling - Pooled Least Square (SEM-PLS). 100 respondents took part in this SmartPLS 3.2.9 Software.Findings The result indicates that FoMO Islamic financial literacy does not have influences on while Attitude has positive effect cryptocurrency. other finding is religiosity subjective norms attitude higher level will increase literacy.Implications Theoretically, contributes behavior technology study. Practically, can be used by developer sharia investment platform optimize their product. Because even all our are moslem, majority them didn’t investing product but also don’t engage Cryptocurrency. Originality We believe first empirical investigates perspective, specifically literacy.
